Question for the Technician:
Which type of arrow shaft do you prefer for hunting, aluminum or carbon fiber? I
presently use Eaton's XXslam. As of a couple of years ago, aluminum was prefered for
hunting due to straightness and shaft size (relating to issues with attaching broadheads, etc.)
Technician's Answer:
The aluminum arrow still loses nothing to carbon arrows for hunting, but, carbon has come a long way. They are now just about as straight, consistent, and even more durable than aluminum arrows. However, they are much more expensive. Either will serve you well.
