Question for the Technician:
I wanting to put a new rest on my PSE Edge bow, but I only plan to have this bow
another year. When I change bows, I will take the new rest off. I've always had a shop tune
my bow, but I would like to learn to do it myself. I'm not all sure what that entails.
Technician's Answer:
Tell your shop the same thing. Have them recommend a rest and and tune the bow. Be very involved and have them take you through it with them. That is the best way to learn. Please be aware that often shops are quite busy so might not have all the time in the world to deal with each shooter. If they are busy, wait till things quiet down or go there during a less busy hour of the day. You can perhaps even work out a time with one of the proshop staff to give yoiu a basic lesson and that way you will have their full attention and can go over things a few times so that you have a chance to really soak it all in.
