Question for the Coach:
I have just purchased a bow at a yard sale and want to know the very basics. Are
there any sites that have basic info. Can you recomend a book.
Coach's Answer:
Hopefully by now you have gotten yourself all going with the bow and are shooting nothing but bullseyes. :> In general, your best way to learn is to find a local club where you can go and shoot a few arrows around others who can watch you and help you. It's also a great place to have your equipment looked and checked for shape and safety. When it comes to books, I find that they are really better for learning the sport once you have the basics. Most ranges will allow you to just drop in and for a very small amount use their ranges. Almost always, archers shooting there will be happy to help you out if you just ask. :>

Please let us know if there is anything else we can help you with.
